New representative? Do not try to learn everything at once. Follow the steps below in order and keep asking one simple question: “What do I do now?”
Your First Goal
Your first objective is simple: get into action quickly and help your first two people within your first 48 hours. You are not expected to do this alone. Work with your sponsor, use the system, use the tools, and let experienced people help you.
1. Get With Your Sponsor
Your sponsor is your first point of contact. Set a short game-plan conversation as soon as possible. Do not wait until you “know enough.”
The fastest way to learn is to begin using the system with support.
2. Build Your Power 15 — Your Refrigerator List
Start with your 15 best relationships.
Think of the people whose pictures could be on your refrigerator — your closest family, best friends, and people who feel like family.
You do not need a list of 50 or 100 names.
Your job is not to prejudge these 15 people. Your job is simply to identify your strongest relationships and begin conversations.
15 PEOPLE. THAT'S IT.
3. Peak Interest
Do not explain the entire business or product yourself. Your goal is simply to create enough curiosity for the person to look at the information.
Keep it short, natural, and conversational. Ask permission to share the information rather than trying to convince anyone.
4. Show the Plan
Let the tool do the work. Send the appropriate website, video, or presentation rather than trying to become the presentation yourself.
Keep it simple. One appropriate exposure is better than overwhelming someone with information.
5. BAMFAM — Book A Meeting From A Meeting
Never simply send information and say, “Let me know what you think.”
Before ending the conversation, agree on a specific time to reconnect after they have looked at the information.
Never end a meeting without setting the next meeting.
6. Follow Up
At the scheduled follow-up, ask one simple question:
“What did you like best about what you saw?”
Then stop talking and listen.
If the response is positive, say:
“Great. I have someone I’d like to introduce you to.”
7. Make the 3-Way Call
Your job is not to become the expert. Your job is to connect your prospect with someone who can help.
INTRODUCE. EDIFY. TURN IT OVER.
Your expert builds rapport, discovers what interested the prospect, asks the Million-Dollar Question, determines their level of interest, and guides the next step.
If your expert is not available, BAMFAM again and schedule a specific time for the three of you to connect.
You do not have to know everything. Learn the system by using the system.
LEARN IT. DO IT. TEACH IT. DUPLICATE IT.
Much of the leadership and duplication philosophy used throughout this training system is based on the teachings of Silas King III, whose Duplication Station principles continue to guide this system.
